The ClassMovies Program is now available to education organisations through the ClassMovies Partnership. These Partnerships are a positive, cost effective and targeted tool for any education organisations to use across their associated schools. There is no cost or administration burden for schools.
Through our partnerships with education organisations, Starter Packs are deployed across groups of schools, with benefits extending to parent engagement, school marketing, connecting Indigenous and non-Indigenous schools, ICT professional development and teacher recruitment.
Partnerships with education organisations are currently available in Australia and the UK.
The ClassMovies partnership model was pioneered in 2008 as a joint collaboration with Catholic Education in Western Australia. The end result was a stunning success for the education organisation, its schools, teachers and parents. Starter Packs were sent to hundreds of teachers across the state with around 90 percent school participation and over 90 percent teacher approval.
These ClassMovies are connecting schools with their community, teachers with their parents, and schools with each other. The education organisation has ownership of a positive initiative across their schools. The partnership places no administrative burden on the education organisation or its schools and has been extended indefinitely to include ClassMovies for every child starting school across the state.
The key to the success of our partnerships with education organisations is the standardisation of the Starter Pack system and our unique Class Code catalogue which provides instant, secure access to all ClassMovies across all schools.
Education organisations are able to allocate Starter Packs to schools as required, irrespective of their size or location. Starter Packs can be used to make ClassMovies for any purpose. The organisation can thus use the partnership to target the benefits of the program in many ways. In our experience, the most popular uses for ClassMovies include:
-
parental engagement and connecting parents with the school
-
welcome to school ClassMovies for entry grades
-
combining ClassMovies from local schools for group marketing
-
using ClassMovies to celebrate school/community events
-
supporting disadvantaged schools within their communities
-
delivering a standard organisation message with each ClassMovie
-
increasing enrolments at particular schools
-
teacher recruitment at home and abroad
-
promoting schools to prospective parents
-
a standardised source of ICT professional development
-
linking schools through the exchange of ClassMovies
The first step in establishing a partnership with an education organisation is to participate in a free ClassMovies trial with up to eight associated schools.
